This round grill fry pan is carbon steel, so the frying features are great for any challenging frying. The rules and tricks of maintenance are the same for this pan, as they are for other carbon steel pans.

Carbon steel pan must always be seasoned first.

  1. Wash off the storage grease and wipe the pan dry.

  2. Heat up the pan in middle heat and brush on some  oil/grease.

  3. Pick up the heat so that the pan starts to smoke and darken slowly.

  4. Let the pan darken for about 1-2 minutes. Wipe and cool off the pan.

  5. Repeat 3-4 times. Best results come after even 10 times!

When the bottom isbrown,let the pan cool down and wipe off the extra grease. Repeat the process: 3-4 times is enough for good results but the best results could take even 10-11 repeats. Here you’ll find further instructions for seasoning.

Maintenance of the Round Grill fry pan

  • The Round Grill fry pan can also be used with metallic tools.
  • Badly burnt surface should be rubbed of with steel wool or sand paper, and the seasoning should be redone.
  • Sometimes the pan’s bottom may bend while heating up. It is easy to fix: straighten up the pan by banging the upside down pan with a hammer.
  • Washing and Cleaning of the pan
  • Only wash the pan with hot water and by hand. Food that is stuck on the pan can be rubbed off with a sponge or soapy steel wool.
  • Don’t pour cold water onto a hot pan or it may bend.
  • Always dry off the pan with paper or the after heat of the stove, and spread some food oil on it, so it won’t rust. This is how you can enjoy your round grill fry pan, year after year.
